DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY

       The Department of Botany was established in 1994 and since inception it has been working in alignment with the mission of college to promote teaching. This department is the best place for students in love with both basics and applied aspects of plant sciences. The goal is to impart knowledge and training to equip interested individuals in plant sciences so as to make them understand ever changing concepts in the fields and facilitate specialization. The laboratory is well equipped with major instruments - laminar air flow, incubator, pH meter, hotplate, autoclave oven, electronic balance, compound and dissecting microscopes etc.

 To explore natural world of plants for the benefits of human race as well as glorification of knowledge.

    and discovery in academics.
 To create a plant loving generation and acquaint them with farming.
 To propagate the message on conservation of natural resources.
 To impact the knowledge about medicinal plants
