Department of Computer Science - Profile

                                                       The Department of computer science was established in the year 1999 with the combination of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, later Statistics, Electronics ,Zoology , Botany were introduced.

-.>   In 2004 M. Sc was introduced.
->     Now the strength of Mathematics students is around 1500 .
 ->   The Faculty of 12 Members are well qualified and experienced lectures in Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching.

                Computer Science Department is one of the most significant departments in the College.The Computer Science Department organizes different activities, like quizzes, power point presentations, project contests, etc through which the technical skills of the students are evaluated. To stay updated with the emerging technologies, experts and veterans from reputed institutions and industries are invited to give guest lectures on the areas of their expertise. Apart from these activities, the students are guided to participate in symposiums, workshops and seminars conducted by other Degree Colleges.

 Providing a strong theoretical and practical knowledge across the computer science disciplines with an emphasis on software development and the use of application software.

 To acquire better teaching methodology through faculty training and up-graduation programmers. So as to facilitate teachers to impart computer education and its applications to the best.

 Organize the activities and events for the students to adopt new technologies to support themselves in future prospects.

 To provide service to the community, both inside and outside the college, and to society as a whole.

 To make the department vibrant and support the activities of the college with technical support.
